Explore the overlooked potential of 3D printed plastic waste through a cost-effective, energy-intensive upcycling process. Shredded by hand, melted under pressure and fabricated into new forms, these objects speak not just of reuse but of the tension embedded in transformation. By revealing the hidden complexities - the labour, the energy and the contradictions within “sustainable” making - Pressed to Matter reflects on how we work with materials and what those processes quietly cost.
