My artwork is a photographic collage that reveals the visual phenomenon of optical illusion. The work activates the archive using media archaeology to interfere with obsolete image-making techniques like stereoscopic photography. The typology consists of vintage lenticular prints of eyes and nude postcards from the 1970s and 60s. The artwork provokes thematic notions of voyeurism, energised by the feeling of being watched. The kinaesthetic images demand participation as they replace and censor the women's body and, instead, gazes back at the audience. The erotic photomontage exposes and allures discussions regarding the sexual politics of exploitation and liberation.
