Just Another Day explores the experiences of burnout through an experimental animated film. This film achieves this by capturing the innate feelings that accompany burnout: depersonalisation, the feeling that emotions must be detached to continue working, the impending sense of doom, overwhelm, and the breaking point. To convey such experience in a visceral and emotive manner, many layers of video are presented in a fast-paced and overwhelming way that depicts the frenzied state of mind that working through burnout can put people through. The colours and music also heavily play into this mixed media film that shifts from dissociation to reality, creating panic with its loud and distressing intensity. The experimental short film aims to make those who are experiencing burnout or similar mental struggles feel heard by visualising what they face without downplaying any of the challenges that come with it. .
